Mena House Oberoi lies in the shadow of one of the wonders of the world, the Great Pyramids at Giza. Outside, the palace blends into its historical setting with its towers, domes, minarets and colonnades set among palms, bougainvillea and jasmine - an oasis of luxury in the desert landscape.

Cairo Airport services both international and domestic airlines. Airport and rail station pick-ups can be arranged. Cairo is three hours’ drive from Alexandria.

By air: Cairo International airport is a 45 minutes drive from the hotel, which is well connected by international flights from a host of destinations worldwide. Cairo is well connected to Luxor, Aswan, Alexandria, Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh, with daily flights operated by Egypt Air. The flying time from Cairo to all cities ranges between forty five minutes to one hour.

By road: Cairo is well connected by roads to all parts of Egypt. The drive to Hurghada takes approximately five hours. The drive to Alexandria takes approximately two hours.

By rail: Mena House Oberoi is approximately 8 kilometers from the Giza railway station and 15 Kilometers from Cairo railway station. The travel time by train from Cairo to Alexandria is approximately two hours, while the travel time by train from Cairo to Luxor is approximately eleven hours.

Cancellation Policy

Reservation must be cancelled 24 hours prior to the planned arrival time. One night's room charge will be levied in case of non-arrival.

Family Plan:

One child up to the age of 12 and one infant up to the age of 2 stay free in the room of the parents. For families traveling with more than one child or a child above the age of 12, accommodation charges apply, based on age of the of the accompanying children.

Child Policy:

· One child under 12 years of age can stay in the parents' room without being charged.

· A separate room will be provided if there are two children less than 12 years of age, at 50% discount on the parents' applicable rate.

· A separate room will be provided at 50% discount on the parents' applicable rate for one child between 12 and 16 years of age.

· The 50% discount on the parents' room rate will not be applicable on the black out dates identified by the hotel.

· For single parents traveling with up to two children under the age of 12, a single occupancy rate will be charged.

· For single parents traveling with one child under 12 and one child over 12 years of age, double occupancy rates will be charged.
